Narrative Designer
Crafting emotional stories and gritty worlds.

A little intro...
I’m a narrative designer and writer working across games, fiction, and screen. I create complex characters, immersive worlds, and branching narratives that give players meaningful choices — the kind that stay with you long after the credits roll.

My work spans indie game development and genre fiction — from gritty urban fantasy to slow-burn space operas. I specialize in emotional resonance, clear narrative structure, and making weird little stories feel real.

This site is a hub for my portfolio, published books, behind-the-scenes writing, and personal creative projects. Take a look around — if you’re into story-rich experiences, you’re in the right place.

About Jaxon
I'm a narrative designer and genre fiction writer with a background in storytelling that spans games, novels, and screenwriting. My speciality is crafting emotionally resonant stories, branching dialogues, and player-driven narratives that stick with people long after they put the controller down.

I've worked on an indie game project from early access to full release, and my narrative work includes everything from character arcs to worldbuilding and VO scripting.

I'm a published author with two short stories available commercially, one novel currently under a developmental edit, and an ongoing web series that will be crafted into a book series in future. I am also a 3D sculptor and a film student with a strong focus on structure, theme, and visual storytelling.

My style blends sharp, layered character work with immersive worldbuilding and a touch of grit. I try to bring empathy, clarity, and collaboration to every project.

I am currently open to narrative design roles, freelance writing, and story development opportunities.

Before you ask, yes, I write and publish under the name Jaxon Lee Rose. I started my journey and goal to become a published author years ago before I knew too much about anything, and at the time, I came to the conclusion that my given name was not unique and didn't translate well to a book cover or a basic Google search (or any barista on any continent) so I made a new name!
That last part still rings true, so here we are.
